alright. monday and i dont have to walk the flourescently lit halls with a blank stare. however, i should be at swim practice right now. and i actually want to be. this horrid virus couldnt end soon enough. i woke up to my dad yelling through my window from the backyard. before i had the chance to grab the shotgun under my bed, he told me to go back to sleep and skip practice. i cant really go into a state of relaxation after that. and here we are. im entering that state of denial that of course, there has to be something better to do than my history reading. ive refolded everything in my drawers 3 times. ive watched endless hours of the history channel (which would seemingly defeat the purpose of avoiding it). somehow, its comforting. ive never really noticed it before, but we have quite a few ceramic pigs in my house. quite an odd topic for a subconscious obsession. i found an art critique i wrote in 7th grade using the word "analogous." what the hell. i dont even know how to use that in a sentence. one more point that proves we only get dumber with age. i like living right behind these hills. looking out in my backyard makes me feel like we're one of 5 houses out here. im the only one on my buddy list thats online. how pathetic. not only that im the only one wasting my life at 9am, but that i consider myself a buddy. i have the insatiable urge to go boating. right now. kinda makes me wish our motorboat didnt have the engine of a car, and that it hadnt exploded on the water over 3 years ago. im pretty sure that visine is actually hydrochloric acid and its sole purpose is to make you cry. after the immediate longing to rip out my eyes and throw them off the interstate, yes, it is soothing. not enough people these days play banjoes. seriously. touchable bubbles have the consistency of glue. dont buy them and especially dont eat them. you wont be pleased.
